Job Search
Foreigners in Japan can find jobs across various sectors, broadly categorized by different visa types such as the Highly Skilled Professional visa, the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program, and the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP). Job availability ranges from specialized technical roles to general labor to address specific labor shortages.

- Creative & International Roles: Journalists, artists, designers, translators, interpreters, and sales executives in international firms.
The SSW and TITP (which is being reformed into the "Employment for Skill Development" program) are designed to address acute labor shortages in specific industries and generally involve "blue-collar" or hands-on work. The SSW program currently covers 16 fields, where workers are needed for immediate employment, while TITP was originally for skills transfer.
